Three years of waiting/harping on me, a few quarts of pink and cream, two NOT seized brake calipers, a pertronix ignitor, and a couple of weekends of busting my ass the Falcon is finally something the Ole' Lady smiles at when she looks at and drives it.
Just need to mount the skirts and take care of that whole back window situation. On that note, a huge thanks to my buddy Keith who came through with a back window AND one that won't break the fuckin' bank or require "waiting for the manufacturer to release a new batch". That guy's a life saver!!!
Now it's time to get back on the Olds and figure out why the Softail is literally smoking regulators...
Stay tuned.

Closing in on the end...
Just some minor finishing touches and the Falcon will be done...paint wise anyway.
But then there's still this whole shit storm.
So I'm hunting for a rear window for a 1963-1965 Falcon coupe or sedan. If you have any leads on getting one to replace the one our douche waffle neighbor broke while weed whaking the goddamned gravel it would be greatly appreciated.
More soon.

Just about there...
After a little more tinting this morning to get the pink "pinkie-er", got some legitimate coats on the body.
Then I prepped the roof.
I mixed a basic cream-ish color for the roof and wheels.
I still need to pull the wheels to shoot the centers but for the sake of time that'll wait a week.
So like I said, just about there, but it's enough to keep the old lady happy for a week.
I also shot her bicycle after putting it off for a couple years longer than I meant to. At least they match now.
All that's left is a couple touch up spots (the wheels, jambs, and trunk) then some color sanding and she'll look like a million bucks...a million pink bucks, but a fuckin' million none the less.
New stator and rotor goin' in the softail tomorrow, then I'll back on the black top.
Stay tuned.

Close, but...
Need to re-tint the paint to be a little richer, wait until the severe heat warning cools off a bit, and replace the stator & rotor on the softail.
More later.
More later.

To rattle or not to rattle...
Some calls were made, ideas tossed around, and after two painstaking hours of tinting around a quart of GM WA9601 (Mary Kay Pink) until I finally got a color the ol' lady liked for the pink on the Falcon some single stage urethane enamel creeped its way into the Falcon's paint equation.
Here goes nothin'...stay tuned.
