first off was the nailhead issue.
In a previous post I mentioned how much I loved my old 60 F100 and that I had sold it. Well, I then bought a 55 buick for the wife and after a short time I had it running but the body was too far gone for me to handle at that time. So I kept the engine and tranny and sold the car for what it was worth ($500) to a kid who was just going to put a 350/350 combo in it (on a side note: I think the car is still on Seattle craigslist in black primer for $5000). Here are a couple old pictures that kind of show some of the rot and one of the engine after I rebuilt the old WCFB and the dizzy and then gave her a tune up.
(look right below the wing window and you can see part of the hole there)
Anyway, I had the engine stored at a "friend's" house. I'm very attached to this engine as it's now all I have to show for selling my truck. So I've been trying to get this engine back for about eight or nine months and despite his two faced attempts to fuck me out of my engine/sell/trade it on the hamb without me finding out about it, I got it back yesterday.
Here's some rather old videos of when I first got that 322 up and running.

I'll post some current pictures of it soon. Thanks to Phil and The Boy for helping me out on that one...and for the new bitchin wheels for the truck.
The next issue will be Tuesday when I meet with my old boss who is trying to get me to come back to work for him. This is a tough one as I now have to choose between two of the best employers I have ever had...this would be a lot easier if my current boss was a douchebag. But instead, there's a lot of "well, if you leave we want you to know that we appreciate all your hard work and initiative and the skills you have... you are a very valuable part of this team....if it doesn't work out there we'd love to have you back...while I can't match their offer, here's what I can do for you..."
I fucking hate tough decisions.
Anyway, not sure what today will bring...maybe more coffee.
