Get a bigger hammer...

Spent most of the day in the lab getting blood work and other testing done, but I got out with enough time to stuff three inches of cap into a two and five eighths cover. So here's a progression.

So I got the one done. I also had to fix the starter on the Old Lady's Falcon. The bendix kept slipping, so I cleaned the contact points and got that spinning as it should. The gas in the car is really bad and there's a lot of shit in the fuel bowl from the shitty ethanol gas. I'll post pics from the carb rebuild after tomorrow.

After the carb, I'll get after fixing her unsafe disc brake conversion. So watch for that.

On another bike note, here's the reason the bike broke down in traffic on me twice the other morning.

All wires are not created equal. This was the primary wire to my coil. Please note there are only five strands of wire on this garbage low strand count off-shore shit wire. If you look really close at the corrosion, there was only one strand that wasn't broken. It still has the wire I crimped together to get home. I'll have pictures of the proper rewire later.

Stay tuned...
